When I evaluate a property my primary concerns are threats to people and threats to buildings, vehicles and overhead wires. Often I find structurally compromised trees near buildings, or trees that are just too close to the house, which promotes moisture retention. Moss growing on roofs, paint peeling from siding and rotting facia boards are often the result.
I would be happy to meet with you to assess possible tree work. A written estimate costs nothing and carries no obligations. I’d like the opportunity to become your tree guy by showing you what quality, professional tree care looks like, along with courteous customer service.
Kevin has been in business since 2008, and he's a fifth generation tree cutter.
"When I was barely old enough to ride with Dad on the tractor, I was going into the woods and watching him fell timber. I didn’t set out to be a tree worker. It seems to have found me." --Kevin Elkin, Owner
We're constantly training in the latest industry safety standards to help assure the job goes well and everybody goes home at the end of the day.
This is one reason we have an excellent safety track record.
Our goal is simple. We want to do the best tree work possible, leaving your property looking so good you'll wonder if we were ever there.
We take pride in our work, which is why we have clients call us back year after year. (Many for over 10 years!)
I started this crazy business 13 years ago. I do the climbing and most of the bucket truck work. When I’m not working I spend most of my time wrangling children. My wife and I have a three and four year old, so life is very busy. Occasionally, I am able to slip away for outdoor adventures. My wife is a nurse. We live in Indian Lake, where we are starting construction of a new home this year.
David has been with me for four years now. He is a talented timber feller and has been learning to do bucket truck removals. He works hard and has been an invaluable member of our team. David and his wife live in Indian Lake with their two daughters. When he’s not working David can usually be found in the woods. Though you may not be able to find him. His family has been in Indian Lake for generations and he knows the woods better than most. He likes to find the quiet places where others are not.
Stephen has been with us for almost a year. He is good with a saw and works hard. But work is a terrible distraction from his true passion, which is chasing fish. Stephen will fish for anything that’s in season. He prefers small stream fishing, but he’s not fussy, any fishing makes him happy.
