When I evaluate a property my primary concerns are threats to people and threats to buildings, vehicles and overhead wires. Often I find structurally compromised trees near buildings, or trees that are just too close to the house, which promotes moisture retention. Moss growing on roofs, paint peeling from siding and rotting facia boards are often the result.
I would be happy to meet with you to assess possible tree work. A written estimate costs nothing and carries no obligations. I’d like the opportunity to become your tree guy by showing you what quality, professional tree care looks like, along with courteous customer service.
We are based in Indian Lake, NY, and cover central and northern Hamilton County, as well as parts of Essex and Warren Counties.
Kevin has been in business since 2008, and he's a fifth generation tree cutter.
"When I was barely old enough to ride with Dad on the tractor, I was going into the woods and watching him fell timber. I didn’t set out to be a tree worker. It seems to have found me." --Kevin Elkin, Owner
We're constantly training in the latest industry safety standards to help assure the job goes well and everybody goes home at the end of the day.
This is one reason we have an excellent safety track record.
Our goal is simple. We want to do the best tree work possible, leaving your property looking so good you'll wonder if we were ever there.
We take pride in our work, which is why we have clients call us back year after year. (Many for over 10 years!)
I started this crazy business 13 years ago. I do the climbing and most of the bucket truck work. When I’m not working I spend most of my time wrangling children. My wife and I have a three and four year old, so life is very busy. Occasionally, I am able to slip away for outdoor adventures. My wife is a nurse. We live in Indian Lake, where we recently started construction of a new home.
